Trent, the son of Lane and Charli (Stanfield) Hendricks and grandson of Jim and Darci Stanfield of Garden Plain, is a fearless 3-year-old with an incredible spirit. Living with Lissencephaly, Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy, Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, and a rare genetic mutation, he faces challenges every day that most children take for granted—and meets them with remarkable courage, even as many of his essential treatments and medications are not covered by insurance.
